My misery shall not be mourned,
Not in fire, ice, nor sky,
For gloom is but a fact of life,
And the Black Raven shall never die.

My pain stricken heart may break again,
And though I question why,
I know that when love turns to lust,
The Black Raven is ever nigh.

Alas! upon the deathly throne,
My soul is set to lie,
But this is not the end, I know,
For the Black Raven forever flies.
