Space
The final frontier
That’s what they said on Star Trek
To me it sounds kind of queer
But I wouldn’t know
I never watched the show
Cuz I was in science
Listenin to the teach
Talk about rocks
On the beach
It really helps to listen to what he said
Cuz then I can figure out what kind of rocks I got up in my head
Maybe they is quartz
Or obsidian
Learnin bout all sorts
Of things
Even learnin bout the prime meridian
And the equator
It can’t get any straighter
I’m rhymin my rhyme
Got no time
Cuz it’s tme for bed
But I would rather go drivin
Cuz I got a foot made out of lead
Hey!! Ain’t that a mineral too?
Or is it a rock?
I ain’t got a clue
Don’t know what to do
Better go study
For this test
Ima do my best
Hopefully get an A
From Mr. Holladay
I studied a lot
About earthquakes
Learnin how the earth shakes
And how heat bakes
My food
I might as well as include
The heat in the earth
And how it gives birth
To volcanoes
Not tornadoes
Which are created by the wind
Warm and cold air
Mix and give in
And create this huge swirlin cloud
That sucks stuff up
And spits it back down to the ground
But least its better
Than the worster weather
That creates a hurricane
Huge cloud swirlin
In a circular motion
Mostly in the Atlantic Ocean
That breaks the weather vane
And destroys the power main
Leaves a path of destruction
That requires a lot of construction
To fix
So let me see this
Mother nature like an iron fist
I get the jist
You can’t control weather
So don’t try
Never
You ain’t that clever
So just let the weather roll
It’s always on the go
But what about way down low
Beneath the earth
You act as though
You didn’t know
That the core was solid
But anyways
This rhymes getting to long for my own good
There are many days
When I would
Be misunderstood
For the many ways
That I’d ask the question
In this session
About his obsession
With this profession
No oppression
Serious facial expression
Now I wanna know about
The discretion
Between
A depression
And impression
Am I goin into regression
Or aggression
Look at my expression
You’ll know I’m confessin
I don’t know the answer
But ask this guy
He knows what it’s all about
For Pete’s sake it’s his job man!
Aiyyo, I done, I ‘m out
I wrote this for school, so yes, I know it is corny but I think pretty good
for a school project!
