He Dried My Tear

Somewhere along the line I died,
and sometimes I'm able,
to let this loneliness slide.
I'm as sure as I'll ever be,
that something alone the line,
I'll never be the same since I met you.
Our wound is now old,
so take these dried tears in stride.
Through the good and the bad,
I remain by your side.
There's been so much emotion,
but in the end it wasn't it a great ride?
I lie to myself and we regret,
but my friend for you I've tried.
And compared to the great times we've had,
it's nothing at all, those tears I cried.
And like they say
"soul mates never die"
