You think you know
but do you really care?
You assume
but you don’t ask

if you only knew
if only anyone knew
maybe it would be different
maybe I would change
maybe I would stop

the words cut through me
just like my blade

the words leave me empty
just like my stomach

longing to be perfect
never satisfied
never meeting my own expectations

how can I do this?
How can I stop?

Do I even want to?
