The serenity is broken by the whisper of the girl
A sigh flows out beyond the light to break the scene below

The cliff cries out in a menacing voice
The darkness circles in

A steady path to follow
A new morning to begin

And now the path has ended
The shore stretches far below

Hungrily the waves call
The girl whispers, go

Just one more step for a new beginning
Just turn around, don't give in

Go, she says, just one more time
A gull swoops above her head

The stars are covered by the clouds
Who conceal the saddening scene

As the girl lets go
Of all that she knows

And the new day
Begins
