It's just a girl trying to learn who she is
Trying to figure out on her own
Why she lets herself fall so deep
When in the end she's always wrong
Only leaving her with a broken heart
That will never again want to care
When a boy makes a promise
Then is suddenly not there
It's just the pain that kills us inside
The need for someone to be by our side
Why is something more special when it's not there
For when she had it she didn't care
There will always be pain
With only endless tears to gain
When we let ourselves go
And his feelings remain the same
But what can we do
When it's all a game
But if we don't figure it out now
We'll never know how
To not care how loved we feel through his kiss
And to not use fake love to fill our emptiness
