Do i have to sit and listen
to this bullshit again?

"you're a talented writer,
You have a gift from God"
All these complements
are merely taken with a nod

I'm accidently touching lives
of people i dont mean to
they try to look into me
but i cannot be seen through

adoration is flowing in
from absolutely everyone
except for the one person
that i would truly want it from

they look at me in the way
that i want that person to
putting all your faith and love
in one person is worse than two

when its just one you never know
how they will react to you
and if you tell them that you're through
will they come running back to you

and fight for you and not give up
no matter what you do or say
because the passion that you share
makes love too strong to ever change

so dont just look but fall into
the eyes of that special someone
combine your minds and hearts and souls
and let your bodies become one
