They all got drunk at the party
But sober I staid
And stood back and watched
All the drunken games they played

They started with Flippy Cup
Then moved to Beer Pong
Once they started drinking
The games moved right along

But sober I staid
Damn luck of the draw
I think someone cheated
Because I got the short straw

I hate standing back
Even though it’s funny
But when I drive them home
I’m gonna take all their money

Because sober I staid
I’m now smarter than this society
Characterized by sedate dignity
And a strait-laced sense of propriety
