A tear falls from my eyes,
A warm touch catches me from surprise.
Soft words whisper into my ears,
The feeling inside wipes away all my tears.

Something simple but so true,
Can form a smile out of the blue.
You take my hand and hold it tight,
You say I'll make it through the fight.

I may fall or back down,
But you always lift me from the ground.
Keeping my fire burning with all your might ,
Pushing me forward towards the light.

The sight of you fades away,
I'm wondering if I'll be okay.
My head falls but you lift it up,
You say be strong and don't give up.

Hearing your voice in the air,
Saying that you will always be there.
