i lay awake at night
thinking about the years
we sang,laughed,and played together
now its gone

you left without saying goodbye
now all that is left is the pain within
cannot you see how much i hurt
how much i need

goodbye was that to much to ask for
do i not deserve to be treated as a human
when i look in your eyes
deep in your soul
i see only hatred

years have passed
i still pretend the pain is gone
i laugh on the outside
while crying on the inside

its all over now
the strength of my pain has drown
my evil emotion has died
i swallow my tears
and curdle my ears
while keeping it bottled inside...
