It could have been the first
It could have been the last,
I thought we would have a future
And for got about the past.
But instead you walked out
And left footprints on my heart,
B/c you knew I loved you
I can’t believe you tore it apart!
I should have seen it coming
But I was so blind to notice,
For the day that came
You just totally blew this.
I try telling my heart
To stop loving you,
But I can’t tell it something
It doesn’t want to do.
You have torn it once before
But the second chance made me feel better,
I thought you really loved me
And you wanted us to be together.
But I guess I was wrong
And that is nothing knew,
Every thing bad happens to me
B/c it knows how much I love you.
I hope you do understand
How much you really mean to me,
I thought you were my lifetime
Of how our life should be.
I thought second chances were better
But I was wrong once again,
I wanted to hold you so tight
And love you till the very end.
I prayed for the second chance
I wished for it to come true,
I hoped for it to be real
And for me to be with only you.
But this is it no more holding hands
theres no more of us as one,
I still can’t believe
That we are forever done.
But yet you are still with me
Threw my dreams and my heart,
B/c you no longer love me
I don’t think you ever did, right from the start.
Now you left me crying
Day and night,
I can’t believe this is true
But I guess im gonna have to say goodbye.
