I didn't use to understand what life really was,
I was stuborn and stuck up all just because.
I hated everyone that came in my path,
Sitting alone ,drowning in sorrow, feeding off my own rath.
Then I meet someone that gave me new life,
Took my hand and threw away that knife.
Took away the drugs he gave me a book to read instead,
Erasing all the garbage and putting wisdom in my head.
See with three words he forgot all my sins,
All I did was cry, " God Forgive Me", and just like that he came
in.
He showed me right from wrong in a way I had never known,
He gave me a second chane, and promised me he'd never leave me alone.
He healed me when I was sick and picked me up when I was down,
And everywhere I turned he was the one who was always around.
So I'll prasie the Lord for all he has done for you and me,
And when he comes back I'm going with him just you watch and see.
