Self sacrifice, to end the burning tears in my eyes
To send this pain I carry, underneath where I'm buried
Perished from this brutal life, my heart already had died
Breathing through my wounds I was barely able to get carried

For I had no strength, it had been stolen by a selfish thief
It left me hopeless like a dead tree, barely able to breath
I was hungry so I took the bait, I was then taken out from beneath my feet
I had believed his modest offering, but gave me only grief

Now my suffering is the air that keeps me barely breathing
Scarcely gasps of air I take, but with time they seem to dim
Like the golden sun does, just when his majesty starts setting
Tragedy is inescapable what will be one day be, it has already been

Death of me is in the past, like the scriptures in the bible
I will hold no one liable, but this torture I couldn’t endure no more
I’m sorry for what I’ve done, I’m sorry but never more, never more
