With a chill in your blood and
A frost on your heart you
Came to me on that cold, grey day
You found me on that sorrowful day
And you told me that winter was coming-
With hands, frozen and blue you
Wiped away these crystalline tears and
Looked into my soul with azure eyes
You searched my soul with icy eyes
And you told me that winter was coming-
A gloom, an arctic mist hung in the air and
Your hands stung as they touched my face,
I wanted so desperately to escape the past
I wanted so much to forget my past
But you told me that winter was coming-
My frigid heart began to slow and
The blood in my veins began to chill as
I fell to my knees in the snow, and wept
I collapsed in the blistering snow, and wept
And you told me that winter had come
And I knew then that winter had come-
