*Grandpa*

my great grandpa you are,
i loved you with all my heart that has now fell so far,
many memories i will never forget,
i will remember when i walked in your house where you always used to set.

You where not only my grandpa but you where my hero,
you where someone i looked up to,
the way you lead me by my little hand to the horse barn,
and remembering you lifting me up by my little arm.

The way i seen you smile when we where all together,
even when it was during the worstest weather,
memories i will cherish as the days go bye,
even though now they are sad ones that make us all cry.

I never got to say i love you grandpa,
i never even got to say goodbye,
now i got things to look upon,
but i dont have you here to lead me by your warm soft palm.

I hope we do meet again someday,
i will sit, hope, and pray,
Now i can say the words i love you and goodbye,
and to sit and let my tearfilled eyes cry.
