A distant shore riddled with life
Is dying in a gust of semi-silencing wind
Standing on that beach…was the man with flame for hair and pistols for eyes
He’s screaming to me
He’s screaming, “Pledge allegiance to the silent ones who feed us
For we bite they’re hands far too much”
I’m screaming back as I struggle up for air
I’m screaming, “I’M DROWNING!”
The shrieks are muffled by the silky smooth oblivion of water
Bubbles all everywhere
I give up breathing and continue my search
The Coral Calcium taunted my very existence
So I came to this distant shore
To hunt it down
To not laugh…but chuckle, in the face of death
Swimming through dark cryptic underwater caverns polluted with life
There’s so much life
Everything dies
The bubbles…they’re everywhere
They massage and caress my body in a frenzy of hysterical survival seeking
That’s all that life is really…survival seeking
The sharks circle under the colossal turf as sunrays break through and
freckle across their smooth skin
They have what I seek…they have the resistance
How coy the sharks can be in they’re elusive niche
They see me…they know I want what they possess
Deep down they know I cant possess it
But the freckled sunrays leave something to be desired
There has to be someway to escape death
We will all die before it is found
As the sharks tear me apart limb to limb their menacing chuckle sends nerve
endings haywire in my now scattered spine
I join the sea
I join the coral calcium
