Talking To Himself In The Corner

Swim through the leaf’s veins as the leaf swims down the river
Drop a translucency through the pore and suck it back in quick
Keep your tube’s current opposite the rivers demand
Create an ambivalent friction not hindered by any half-hearted glance
Manipulate your river until the forest hinders in electrified eccentrics
Until the dandelions fluctuate between yellow and rainbow
Until the stones liquidate into the river under the moons drowning glow
Until the animals, the forest animals, in their tired niche,
Feed on the sky’s collapsing clouds with a twitch of cannibalism
For all that’s been changed will be your new niche
Your new niche
Change all you have and all that is and all that you will be
Until you go color blind and the river solidifies into cold stone
Until you eat your brain
