I once wished apon a star,
wished to make the world go away.
Hoping to forget it all.
As memories ease into this dream.
Back where I started.
Just empty thoughts and lost hopes.
You cured me of this pain.
If only for a while...
So tonight I'll stay outside in the freezing cold,
Waiting for the clouds to part.
But maybe tonight will be different, maybe wishes really do come true.
