I sit and wonder how fast the time is gonna go by today
I wonder if it will go as slow
as that turtle on the road
or that speedy bunny
next door
I hope fast but when I look at you
I hope it goes by as slow as possible
So I can be with you longer
Time is not mine so I do not know how fast it will pass
time is only a clock
I sit and watch it go tick tock
I sit there almost falling asleep
time today went as it wanted
I do not care if it goes fast or slow
just so long as you are mine to hold
