Would you?

If I fall will you think me weak,
If I cry, will you not comfort and speak,
If you dropped me and I landed on my own two feet,
Would you pout and think you weren't needed?

If I let you go would you care,
If I ran away from you would you fare?
If I stayed and you stripped me of my pride, bare,
Would you realize that I am a person?

Would you pray for me at night,
If there were a war would you help me fight,
And if i wished to fly would you help me take flight,
Would you be my wings?
