My Drug

This drug, It’s like a high I have never before known,
An obvious addiction to something I have never before shown,
And in this darkness I can’t resist, I can’t control this urge,
To have this drug, this drunken state, it’s playing with my nerves,

Intoxicating, infuriating, an adrenaline rush I don’t understand,
Red in the face, my heart’s race, sweat in the palm of my hands,
Overheating, shallow breathing, boiling my very blood,
It’s not a pill, it’s not an herb, it’s your touch, my drug.
