To the stem that holds my soft yellow petals
With such grace that makes me bow to its delicate green leaves.
To just kiss those light green veins
I would let the rain beat upon my buds
So I may feel your radiant caresses.
I sometimes wish you were a bird to have my sweet pollen taken by you
For you to inhale my fresh fragrance,
To just indulge yourself and stay awhile;
Oh, I would grow a mile!
But yet here you are through the morning dew
To the afternoon dusk holding me with pride.
I hope that we have an eternity together
Days to feel the wind dance around us like feathers
And nights where we secretly glance at each other.
This is what I pray as you are curled up in sweet slumber,
To have your hold is what makes my forever.
