you try and try and try,
but i give you a dirty look and a sigh,
you arent proud of me when you should be,
thats why i wont change just stay me,
i may not be the perfect child,
at times i might be wild,
that shouldnt matter to you,
you should keep your love for me true,
it shouldnt matter what i look like on the outside,
all that counts is on my inside .
