The stones that fell
Were aimed at me
Perspective pries you watery eyes
But in the end it gives you wings
It's higher than the hights we beleive we know
It's deeper into our own hearts than we have ever been to
Those left standing will make millions writing poems like this
On the way it should have been
Realization is comming soon and it's gunna hit hard
And everything will be a constant reminder to you
Even the garbage truck beeping as it backs up
It will remind you of all that you've thrown away all your life
The credits will appear on a movie screen
You'll remember that you missed the best part
You'll beg to go back to the start
Suddenly, remembering that you can't go back
You heart grows warmer to life you left behind
If this is sight, you think it's better to be blind
If this life is right, you know it's a hell of a lot better to be
wrong
Perspective never fails, it relentlesly pries
Your washed and still watery eyes
And salty cheeks from black tears stain
Your weak and broaken self
But always remember
In the end it gives you wings

To fly away from it all
