I Love [hate] You Part 2

I was stupid to think
That someone like you
Would go for a girl like me
In the first place,
I admit you had me going
I believed everything you told
Me,
You had me toiled and locked,
And I wasn’t going to try to
Even break free.
Oh how I treasured you,

And, you,
Ohhh you,
My thought to be companion,
You smiled in my appearance
Every morning as if
Everything were all right,
To conceal your immorality within,
What a fool I was,
What a fool.

Oh, but I cherished you,
Yes, respected and loved you,
I would never have thought disloyalty
Would ever happen to me,
For, I would by no means
Betray anyone else.
I thought whatever I didn’t do,
I didn’t get.
I suppose I was wrong.

Oh, I loved you,
I imagine I still do.
