I call you Friend yet you seem so much more.
I have often dreamt about meeting a true friend,
A friend that sees you for who you are and accepts
You with open arms.

I knew there was someone out there like that for me
But I never thought of it much,
Until one night when I least expected
You came along and made that dream a reality.

I have never heard your voice or felt your warm embrace
But all I know is that when I’m with you
I feel loved as a dear friend.
No matter if it's day or night or what the hour may be
You are always there to share a laugh or lend shoulder to cry on..

With each line you type, you bring a smile to my face...
And caring words to my heart
In you I have found a True Friend
And that is something I will always treasure.

Maybe we met by coincidence or by fate
But the bond that we share will never be broken
No matter the miles between us or where the life takes us
A part of YOU will always be with ME!
