Stereotyped

do you know what it's like
to be stereotyped
everyone thinks they know me
i wish this rep could be wiped.

ok, i may be skinny...
doesn't mean i throw up my food
sure, i take a lot of pictures,
but never in the nude.

no, i'm not a virgin
but that doesn't make me a slut
i can't help it guys try to use my face
just to bust a nut.

although i have a lot of friends
i've never put someone down
i believe everyone is equal
whether dressed in a sack or in a gown.

i can't help it if people hate me
they can say what they want
they'll never get a rise out of me
no matter how much they taunt.

so here are some answers
to the questions you've been dying to ask:
my good grades aren't from cheating
in school i stay on task.

no, i'm not dating a football player
they're a little too dumb for me
and no i don't "get around"
or get on every guy i see.

i've never really been in love
mr. right and i have never met
and my life is far from perfect
i'm not satisfied just yet.

my goal is to change the world
one person at a time
i want to make it a better place
with less murder and less crime.

see, i have a lot more to me
than just a pretty face
i have goals, plans and dreams
and a mind i refuse to waste.
