I hear it everyday; "follow your dreams", "don't give
up."
And yet the same day I hear "get a back up plan", "stop
it", "I've heard enough."
So what do you want me to do?
Follow my dreams or follow you?
Make up your mind, you're confusing me.
You try to help me, but you're losing me.
Please tell me what to do so I can do the opposite.
My life has nothing to do with you, no not one bit.
It's my choice, my perogitive.
It's not something I've got to give.
I don't. It's mine all mine.
I want to shine, I have to shine.
But then for you to tell me I can't?
You try to block me from what I want. Maybe you should just give me a
chance.
I'll practice, I'll try.
You still choose to block me. Why?
It's hard. I struggle.
And you make it seem like you want to keep me in this bubble.
I can't stay.
I have to do what I want, my way.
You can confuse me,
You can mentally abuse me.
Either way I'll make it.
It doesn't matter how you take it.
