You were the only person
That seemed to know me;
What I love,
What I needed,
And what I felt when
Words were unspoken
It hurts me to realize that
You’re gone and that
We will never see each other in the
Future,
And-
That scares me.

I loved you.
I assume I still do.
I have
Unexpected flashbacks of
What we used to have,
And memories of you
Making me smile by the little
Things no one else has bothered to do,
…and laughter,
Sweet laughter brought between you and I.

And, I miss that.

Thus you see,
I love you very deeply
Seeing that
You get ME,
The ME within,
And I want to
Show gratitude
For purely being in my life.
