I sit here and I'm thinking
How could I be so dumb
How could I be so stupid
To believe that bum.

I can't believe I trusted them
I wanted to think I was wrong
So I just kept on going
This went on for pretty long.

I can't believe I got into this situation
For the second time, in fact
I told myself I was doing fine
But I never kept my pact.

Now I sit here regretting
Not believing the one who was right
Though the sun was bright and shining,
I couldnt see the light.
