Teacher Trouble

Once I had a teacher,
who was quite a preacher.
She never would smile,
not even once in a while.
She was very old,
but I was so bold
to approach her one day
and frightfully say,
"I forgot my homework today."
Then she got mad
and said I was very bad.
She sent me away
to slowly decay
in the ALS room,
about to face my doom.
So I promised myself
I wouldnt do that again,
even if I changed my name to Jen.
Now I am rotten,
I think I've been forgotten.
left in the ALS room,
but I will not assume
that this is my doom,
or worse, my tomb.
I wait patiently
for someone to find a key
to unlock the door
then I will soar
out of that dreadful place,
then the memories I will erase.

I wrote this in 6th grade
about a teacher everyone feared.
I found it recently and decided to put in in here, even if it seems a bit
elementary. Hope you like it.
