I once had a love I lost,
My heart, I feel, has lost its gloss.
I dream about him night and day,
And why he had to go away.

I don't know, I cannot see
Why he left... abandoned me.
So long since I've seen his face,
I wished, I longed for his embrace.

I loved him then, I love him now,
I'll love him till my final hour.
My heart, my soul are his to keep,
