Love is supposedly better
the second time unveiled.
I say break up's are reasoned,
and the second time is stale.

I have this friend who fell in love
her boyfriend shook her free.
This boy broke up with her,
because he wanted me.

Now, things did not work out
the way the scene appears.
He would have broken my heart,
if I wasn't already hurt.

So as the summer ended
she and I became close.
After three other girlfriends,
this boy offered another dose.

She gave him the rest of herself
the second time around.
But he, again, became bored.
So you see second chances are drowned.
