I woke up to the sound of screams
To the sound of sirens and bright light beams

I heard a loud crash and dust fill in all around
As The World Trade Center fell to the ground

I heard the sounds of people crying for the ones they love
and i prayed for help to the lord above

My heart was pounding with fear
As the sounds came even more near

Millions and millions already dying
With people frightened on the ground, crying

I looked out saw millions people running around in fear
And my heart just broke and i shed a tear

Many peoples loved ones lost
and for what cost

For cold-hearted terrists trying to ruin our land
They tried to steal out of the palm of my hand

Now as the streets of New York have quieted down
The whole sky turns black with a deep frown

Many lost, many hurt many gone
All because of one day turned wrong
