Suicide?

All alone in the dark, lies a girl full of fear.
Lonely eyes, empty heart.
She thinks of suicide,
then thinks of hell.
She knows it's bad,
but doesn't know that life could be any worse.
Behind her stands a door.
If she opens it, there's life.
If she leaves it closed, there's death.
The girl locks the door,
reaches for a mirror.
One last look is all she wants.
"Suicide?" she asks herself.
She intentionally drops the mirror,
it hits the floor.
A thousand pieces have shattered.
She reaches for a piece of broken glass,
holds it close to her wrist.
Starting to push, she stops.
"Suicide?" she asks herself again.
