These Are But Mere Words For You To Hear

Betrayal,
the worst of human vengances,
has been forced upon me,
by the one whom my love never ceases,
though I am tattered and torn, tormented by your actions,
and cut down by your words,
all that hurts, and all of which torments me.
is pushed aside by the one who is no longer mine,
the one who, is standing before me,
trying to peer into the blackness of my soul,
which need not be,
for my emotions are being thrusted into my actions,
for these are but mere words for you to hear,
mere words for you to read and expel,
we are meant to be together, as one, forever,
just as you once told me,
I have never doubted the fact,
I have accepted it, and adapted my entire life to the idea,
and asked absolutely nothing in return,
a grievous mistake on my own behalf,
for I got nothing in return,
but pain,
and suffering,
and torment,
and,

betrayal.
