Mindless World We Live In

I stand,
lookin up at the sky,
A thought popped into my mind,
could that be heaven,
And this could be hell,
Words drift while walking around,
I'm thinking,
What could be next,
A crazy man lost in a donut store,
looking for a square shape,
while others are circle,
Thinking still,
This must be hell,
I could just run up to someone,
And say,
I love you,
Like a fat kid loves candy,
no reactions happen,
Just dead silent,
people don't notice if I'm here at all,
So mindless,
so dead,
In a place like this,
Makes me wonder,
Where's superman when we need him.
