I've ever met.

sense of humor and
the most positive outlook on life.
You're always ready to make
people laugh or see things
from a lighter point of view.
You're always trying
to help people feel better
about themselves
or the world around them.
You hardly ever say
anything bad
about anyone,
and if you do,
you've always got
about three more positive things
to say about them.
You're so understanding
and you always
want to listen
to what people have to say.

I feel at home when I'm with you.
Yes, I realize
it's only been three months.
With you, it's different.
You're the only guy
I've ever fallen head over heels
with just talking on the phone
after only seeing you, once, for
maybe ten minutes.
You're the only guy
I've ever felt at home with
on a first date,
sitting on the floor of Barnes & Noble
and reading poetry.
You're the only guy
I have seen make a complete change
for the better.

I can talk for hours on the phone
with and feel
like I've accomplished something,
rather than have wasted time.
You're the only guy I can be with,
talk with, or think about
and the reality of the world
doesn't seem so hopeless.

You make me feel like I can
accomplish anything.
You make me feel like
I'm in touch with the world again.

You told me I was pretty
and I believe you.
You told me everything
was going to be okay
and I trust you.
You told me you loved me
and I had already known
that I loved you
from the beginning.

You've given me
the kind of love
I could only dream
about and deny
existance of.
I truly believe you're the only guy
I want to dream about
and be able to wake up to
for the rest of our time together.
