They say true friends are always there
They're supposed to love you
They're supposed to care
But why is it that when you finally open up
They turn their backs on you
The one's you thought you could always trust
Left standing there alone
Wondering what you did wrong
Missing such a good friendship
Tearing you up, can't stay strong
Bringing tears to your eyes
When you finally realize
That you loved him as more
Then just a friend
You really got to know him
Got to close...then fell for him
Just losing the friendship alone really hurts
But adding your true feelings...
makes the pain so much worse
