NO LIGHT

No light to be seen
Darkness walks with me
There's no taste in my mouth
Just the bitter metalic poison of my life

Water drips from the faucet
T.V. showcases static
Phone's off it's recever
Huming a faint melody

My hands shake
Body aches
Fishnet covered fingers tighten the laces for my final walk
To climb these thousand stairs ahead of me

Leave my door unlocked behind me
My tempeture is rising
My foreheads hot
Cheeks the color of my lifes wilting rose

My legs are numb by that final step
No one will ever know my final thoughts
They never even knew I was here at all

My eyes become cloudy with oceans full of salt
A dam falls, lets the water out
My cheeks become cherries in the summer sun
The end has just begun

Wind in my hair
Turn my chin to the sky
Blow it a kiss goodbye
I pray I don't feel anything

Ten stories up
All thats left is jump
Concreate floors await me
Nothings left, emptyness
No ones here to save me

The other dam falls staining my brick red shoes to black
I never thought I'd be the one to do this
Say my goodbyes, never showing I cryed

One more step and it's over
Away from the world beneath me
My heart pounds away the drumbeat of my life
My nails dig into my palms with the strength of my last fist

The noise of the city life below me rises
Morning's back is breaking
My last sunrise waking
Take a deep breath
Close my eyes

This is the only thing i have left...
