When everything is said and done
The memory of you still lives on
My tears hide from your face as you walk away
I hope to see you again someday

When will I get over this?
When will I be able to move on?
I’m standing here alone with my dark cloak on
In the dark hiding from everything that’s real
Hoping it’s all a misunderstanding

Please remember me wherever you go and
Kiss the sky for me when you get there
Never forget my name, write a letter everyday
You don’t have to send it if you don’t want
I’ll always hold you in my heart

Did you have to go away, leaving me to my demise?
Why can’t I just get a chance to look into your eyes?
And know it’s gonna be alright
Our last hug didn’t last that long, that’s why I’m writing you this song

the happy ending is over
so stay a while, let me cry on your shoulder
come back make it all better

Please remember me wherever you go and
Kiss the sky for me when you get there
Never forget my name, write a letter everyday cause…
I’m sitting on the cold side of the sun
Wasting away till my tears are done
Don’t forget me cause I’ll always be here
always holding you in my heart

let me know when it's over
so i can come out from under the covers
will i see you when i wake?
or is that for another day?
will i be able to give you another hug?
let me know when it's okay

remember me when you get there
never loose hope
keep me close with every breath you take
I'll see you again someday
and though i don't know when
i'll stay true to you and always be your friend
