A little girl
With big brown eyes
Sits with her teddy
And begins to cry
No one hears her
No one says a word
Forgotten soul
Lost in this big cold world

Through all the obsticles
She tries to stand strong
Her dreams and hopes
Keep her holding on
Although the weight's
Getting heavier by day
She bows her head
And begins to pray

She grabs her teddy
And hugs him in tears
He's her only friend
She tells him all her fears
"I know she loves me"
"She doesn't mean what she does"
She tells her teddy
"Mommy loves me too much"

She gets through life
Day by day
She won't give up
She never loses faith
But this little girl
Can't quite understand
She just wants to be loved
Wants someone to
Hold her hand

This little girl
With a little voice
Is in a tough position
She has to make a choice
To stay at home
Or to ger taken away
Her mommy has a bad temper
But she'll stay anyways

Then one night
Her mom came home late
Smelling like alcohol
The drunken state
Daddy left her
He's not coming back
Then her mommy saw her
And gave that look of attack

That poor young girl
Suffered her mothers rage
No one could help her
...And now it's too late...
