I know I may be cynical
That I always have my doubts
Everything's a "what if..." situation
And I tend to scream and shout

But that doesn't mean I hate you
Or love you any less
But sometimes this life gets too hard
And I can't take all this stress

I still love you
Thats the only thing I'm sure about
You're the only thing that makes me happy
You're the only thing I never doubt

I doubt our situation though
Its hard without you here
I can't imagine life without you
Losing you's my biggest fear

Prove that you'll never leave
That you'll soon be by my side
Tell me of your love for me
And that you'd hold me if I cried

I need to know its not just words
That what you say is true
I need to know if you love me
I need you to know that I love you
