When it rains
It pours
And empty tears
Hit broken floors

But the worst part is
I don't know where you've been
Or what's been happening
Because I lost
My best friend

If you're still with me
Why am I down on my knees
Begging to the lord
Who I don't even believe in

Should I do this just because
You were my first
True
Love?
Or because I was selfish
And was jealous
Such a fool

But to talk to you about it..
Makes me feel the pain
Even more

Should I tell the truth now
Or just let lies pass
Empty tears hit the floor
But they don't really last...
