Rain on me, numb me now so that my pain will not be visible
Touch me with ice so that I may be frozen, never again to have to see this
Burn me with fire so that I may never again live to see this tradgedy
Clench me in your fist and squeeze the life out of me so that no one will
hear my last breath,
And tomorrow comes and I pray I'll be somewhere new

Your stance entwines my life around your finger so that I am broken
The rain is the many thousands of tears I have cried, and the wind is always
blowing my pain back in my face
The clouds overhead are my places of solitude, my hermitage, the place I run
to
My screaming could break glass if only you would listen to my pleas
Stop your crying now, you say, everything has to change

Sit in my closet with my eyes shut tightly hoping that this world will end
and lead me somewhere new
I wander and I am not found, I roam and I am still so alone
I'm dying to find out why
Why I cry when everything I once knew falls away
Oh, but you said everything changes

Today I am dying
Today is another yesterday, and the world is still not through
Just let me go so that I will breathe one last sigh, and so that I may see
what I've become before I die
Release me from your snares
Begone with you
