Uninspired Paradox

The days are longer, again,
but cold.
I want to walk home,
but I know I won't.
Home late, home late,
homework took its toll on me.
Late work, late work,
too bad school can't be a job.
I can't get a fucking job.
No one wants me;
what a dumb slob.

The nights are shorter, again,
but old.
I want to find work,
but I'll put that on hold.
Go away, go away,
laziness took its toll on me.
Shamed girl, shamed girl,
too bad school can't find me work.
I can't get a fucking job.
No one wants me;
what a dumb slob.
