Broken Glasses

Panes of fogged glass before your eyes cause a mountain of tears to flow
from mine.
Loving you is like a disease
Eating at my heart
Knawing at my soul
Driving me to look deeper
Past the glass
Through the soot
Between the fractured wings of a fallen angel
Into that dark room you call a mind
No matter how I strain I cannot see my cause for loving you
Hate is a storm brewing in the pit of my stomach and
The darkest rage fills my soul
The tiny leak of dislike has turned to rivers of hate and violence
