If someone doesn’t like what you’re wearing,
Say then be glad these aren’t yours.
If someone says how can you eat that stuff,
Say I have my own tastes and you have yours.
If someone says how can you believe in that,
Say you’re proud of your religion.

Don’t be afraid to stand up for what you believe in.
Don’t let peer pressure bring you down.
Don’t be afraid to be yourself.
Don’t let other people change your life.

Look inside and find out who you really are.
Stand out and let your emotions show.

If someone says how can you hang out with them,
Say they are your whole life.
If someone doesn’t like the way your are,
Say there are plenty of other people that like me for me.

Don’t try so hard to fit in, you are born to stand out.
Don’t try to make yourself popular, make friends by being you.
Don’t feel that the world has turned its back on you, maybe you turned your
back on the world.
Don’t be so hard on yourself, just sit back and relax.

Look inside and find out who you really are.
Stand out and let your emotions show.

If someone hates the accent you have,
Say you have pride from where you came from.
If someone is disgusted by the color of your skin,
Just keep your head up and show your pride.

Be proud of who you are,
Smile because you are a star.
Don’t believe in all the things they tell you,
For they just have no clue.

Look inside and find out who you really are,
Stand out and let your emotions show.
