I Sit Here

I sit here in my dream,
Listening to the constant noise of a scream,
I wonder who it is and what is going on,
It changes and its suddenly dawn.

I sit here in my dream,
Trying to figure out if its all what it seems,
I stare into the the darkness of the sky,
I wonder if it would look the same if people wouldn't lie.

I sit here in my dream,
And quietly i begin to scream,
Scared to death of whatever it may be,
I don't know what it is, I can't see.

I sit here in my dream,
Chained up to a beam,
If i try to run, will it break down the wall,
Will it all tumble and will it fall.

I sit here in my dream,
In my corner, the wall is cream,
slowly I rock back and forth, I can't stop,
Its like I'm being blown up, soon to pop.

I sit here in my dream,
There is light, a slight beam,
I get up and walk over and then its gone,
Its all dark, there is no dawn.

I sit here in my dream,
I'm in the dark and I begin to scream,
No one can hear or see, but I'm in a trap,
Held down by a strong constricting strap.
