Silently I Wonder

Silently I wonder what loving you
would be like. Would it be a
magical journey through a purple
haze of dreams? Would it be calm
crystal blue waters of the Caribbean sea? I wonder.

Would it be a walk in the park
gazing at the flowers and the birds?
Would it be snuggling on a cold
winter night? Would it be shining stars on a bright moomlit night?
I silently wonder.

Would it be the taste of honey from
your sweet tender lips? Would it
be the presence of love on our
wedding day? Would it be the happiness and joy of our first born?
I wonder silently.

So why don't I speak what my
heart silently wonders?
Silently I wonder.
